In the middle of a personal healing journey, our founder realized that the most “Ordinary” parts of self-care – Like removing body hair or exfoliating dry skin – were often treated as a chore, and not choices. Yet every time she lit a candle, and set an intention or touched her skin with care, something shifted. She felt more present and more powerful… More her. She started to turn her grooming routines into sacred rituals – Mixing herbs, oils and energy work to soothe her skin and spirit alike. Hair removal became a way to release old energy… Scrubs and serums became tools of soft transformation. The name “The Waxing Willow” came in a daydream: The Waxing Moon for Growth and Renewal, and the Willow Tree for softness, strength and surrender.
